Built in Bristol, and born at the Glastonbury Festival, Arcadia fuse recycled military hardware into breath-taking mechanical sculptures and create exhilarating performances by combining larger than life circus, music, pyrotechnics and innovative engineering.

Transforming the culture of oppressive technology, Arcadia aims to create inspiring interconnected domains of positivity. Developing a range of structures, stages and installations ranging from the 50 tonne Spider to the mobile, amphibious Bug, they have hosted some of the world’s top DJ’s and musicians… And this September, Arcadia, and their world-famous mechanical spider, is set to land in Bristol’s central Queen Square!

Welcoming home a number of native jungle and house artists, the festival will be Arcadia’s first ever city-centre event; fusing innovative music, circus, sculpture, special effects and recycled biofuel pyrotechnics. With it looking like a sunny start to September in the West Country, we can’t think of any justifiable explanation for missing out on this truly epic weekend.
