The first offering from north England four-piece Colour is the twinkling slice of guitar elation that is 'Strangers'.

Immediately reminiscent of Foals and Everything Everything, the track is a strikingly compelling composition. Layering guitars over a thumping drum pattern, the song is at once vaguely vintage and concisely contemporary in its sound.

Holding true to a strict DIY ethic, every stage of the song's development was masterminded by the band themselves.

A flurry of early activity earned the band a Merseyside Arts Foundation fund and saw them named BBC Introducing ‘Band of the Year 2014. So definitely a band to watch.
