The bank holiday is a mere matter of hours away. And seeing as the weather is refusing to behave, get your three day weekend off to the right start with Native Dancer's fantastic Vol II EP.

A slinky, gently unwinding trio of songs taking in elements of hip-hop, jazz and soul, the EP is warmly laid back and inviting across 'Seven of Swords' and 'Big Blue', before introducing an electro crunch on 'In Clouds' as a reminder of the band's penchant for subverting genres and energetically engaging the listener. Vocalist Frida Touray's remarkable voice provides a constant irresistible focal point.

The perfect accompaniment to early afternoons in the garden, these tracks are likely to be a mainstay on playlists over the summer.
