Being on the internet, Shout4Music doesn't have a back page. But if it did, it might look a bit like this.

We've asked a bucket full of bands and an array of artists to answer our questions on life, the universe and everything.

This time round it's the turn of Chris Bangs from Talk In Colour. Their single, 'Nightshifts' features on the film 'Junkhearts'. You can download it at the bottom of this very page.

Find out more about the band in this recent interview.

What are you listening to right now?

In the last week been on a late 80s / early 90s tip after watching a brilliant doc on Creation Records on IPlayer a few weeks back. Classic stuff like My Bloody Valentine, Primal Scream, House of Love etc... Also loving Joe Goddard's 'Gabriel', the recent Radiohead remixes album, Bombay Bicycle Club's 'Lights Out...' single, and the new Talk in Colour Microburst remix, as well the usual suspects, Joni, Bob (both), The Smiths, Coltrane (both), Aphex, etc...

How did you get into music?

Playing piano at friend's houses and writing pieces in the music room at break, using Notator on an Atari and a classic old Kawai keyboard. Always been a geek for music technology!

Tell us a joke.

What's grey and can't climb up trees? A car park.

Who do you follow religiously on Twitter?

@iamseams and our designer @davidkiosk both of who seem to tweet every other second, oh and of course your good selves!

What have you been reading lately?

'Into the Darkest Corner' by Elizabeth Haynes

Who is the most influential person in your life?

God, what a question, erm, my parents?

Which song do you wish you had written?

So, so many, but how about 'The Boy in the Bubble' by Paul Simon?

Does God exist?

Define god!? Yes and No.

We're at the bar. What are you drinking?

What ales they got on tap?

Who would you dread getting stuck in a lift with?

Hannibal Lector.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A composer, followed by architect, and landscape gardener...

What song will you have played at your funeral?

I think all musos mull this one over on a weekly basis, but at the moment it would be 1/1 from Music For Airports...

What gigs, songs or albums are you promoting at the moment?

New single 'Nightshifts', and the feature film 'Junkhearts' that I did the music for... Oh and our debut album which will be released in mid-February of course!!!

How can we find out more about you?

Our facebook and twitter (@talk_in_colour) pages, our website and soundcloud where you can download the 'Nightshifts' single for free.
