I Dream In Colour

Building a following in any city isn't always easy, but Essex quartet I Dream In Colour have successfully managed to do just that in the city where they have spent the past year writing new material and gigging like crazy. That kind of effort does often go unnoticed but luckily for them, their name has gradually been making its way round the blogophere, consequently attracting attention from various producers and members of the press.
The four-piece are about to release their debut single 'Strangest Place' (b-side 'Still Got A Hold On Me) which demonstrates how the band have grown in terms of sound, with a new maturity and confidence apparent. The single is a well-written indie-pop track that has all the right ingredients to make listeners want more, which is what many bands struggle to produce. But it's clear that it's not just luck; I Dream In Colour have something which sets them apart, whether it's Richard Judge's dynamic vocals or the combination of interesting melodic lines and memorable, driving choruses.
With their reputation as an awesome live band, I Dream In Colour won't have any problems selling out shows soon enough. In fact, the quartet already managed to play a sold-out show at London's Bull & Gate as part of their November tour in support of the single. Definitely a good sign.
'Strangest Place' is released on January 23 through Euphonios as a digital download. Check out the video for the single below.
