From the organisers of the critically acclaimed 2000 Trees festival, comes a new festival for 2013 in the form of ArcTanGent. Specialising in bands in veins like math- and post- rock, with a particular emphasis on experimentalism, the line-up looks ready to tear up the quaint Fernhill Farm in Bristol with its intricate melodies and danceable rhythms.

Scheduled from August 29-31st, the already confirmed acts include post-rock pioneers 65daysofstatic and their fellow headliners the experimental electro-duo Fuck Buttons; Tall Ships; Irish instrumentalists And So I Watch You From Afar; and the more techno-inclined likes of Gallops and Three Trapped Tigers.

Priced at a mere £59, this festival is exceptional value for money, and although it may lack in the lyrical department, its first outing will no doubt have numerous critics waxing lyrical.

Tickets and details of the full line-up are available at arctangent.co.uk
