The Big Pink recently confirmed that their long-awaited second album, Future This, is to be released in January 2012. Last week saw the first single, ‘Stay Gold’, being given its world premiere on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show with the accompanying video then being aired from the band’s website, www.musicfromthebigpink.com.

 

To coincide with the single release, they can now announce their return to the live circuit with their first UK tour for well over a year. Happening this November, they will be headlining nine shows with support coming from tipped London duo 2:54 (all dates except Leeds).

 

November: 11th - Glasgow Classic Grand, 12th - Leeds Metropolitan University, 14th - Manchester Academy 3, 15th - Liverpool O2 Academy 2, 17th - Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms, 18th - Brighton Digital, 19th - Birmingham HMV Library, 21st - Nottingham Rescue Rooms, 22nd - Bristol Thekla.
