As we have recently has some development work done on the website, we have decided to remove parts of the old site with the aim of bringing our readers a different way of covering news. Instead of singular news posts regarding the latest touring schedules and single/album releases, we though we'd offer a more varied and concise overview of all the latest noteworthy news. So without further ado, here are some of the bands that have recently announced tours and upcoming releases.

Many Things to play two dates in Germany

After flitting between Germany, Australia and the UK during the process of recording their debut album, London indie trio Many Things are set to play two dates in Germany this week.

The dates are listed below:

01 April - Privatclub - Berlin, Germany

02 April - Uebel & Gefarhlich - Hamburg, Germany

After releasing a slew of impressive EPs their debut which will be entitled ‘Burn Together’ will get its release via Australian label, Dew Process. The label has previously released records by Mumford & Sons, James Vincent McMorrow and the Hives among others. The first single to be taken from said album, ‘Holy Fire’ will be released on April 20 and can be viewed below.

James Bay announces UK headline tour + festival appearances

After topping the charts with his No.1 debut album ‘Chaos And The Calm,’ James Bay has announced a string of headline tour dates throughout September and October of this year. The tour will span 12 cities and includes a show at the prestigious Brixton Academy in London on September 30, 2015. The tour comes to end in Dublin on October 14 at the Olympia.

Bay has also announced a slew of festival appearances this year including slots at V Festival, No Tomorrow and Isle of Wight Festival. For full listings go to his official website here.

Alternative rock band Turbowolf announces in-store gigs

Bristol band Turbowolf will be returning with their much anticipated second album on April 6. The album will be released via Spinefarm Records/Search & Destroy. To celebrate the release, the band will be performing at two UK record stores:

06 April – Rise Records, Bristol

07 April – Banquet Records, Kingston

The band’s new album can be streamed in full at their official website here. Additionally, the band has also announced a 12-city UK tour along with some European dates that will see them perform in Poland and Germany. They will also play Camden Rocks and The Great Escape this coming summer. Full tour listings can be viewed on the aforementioned website.

Finally, Gallows return with a new album + UK shows

Everyone’s favourite punk rockers, Gallows have finally announced that there new album will be released on April 13 via Venn Records/Play It Again Sam Records. The band’s founding member Laurent Barnard describes the album as having “swagger, attitude and menace.”

’Desolation Sounds’ is the band’s fourth studio album which will feature 10 new songs spanning a frenetic 36 minutes. You can watch the video for the first track taken from ‘Desolation Sounds’ entitled, ‘Mystic Death’ below:
