RØDE Creates a Pocket-Sized Wireless ME Microphone System

RØDE launches a new wireless ME microphone system that will make professional audio recording easy regardless of the user’s experience level, application, and device.

Whether you are a filmmaker, content creator, vlogger, journalist, or hobbyist, RØDE makes it easy to achieve professional-quality audio recordings with the new wireless ME microphone system.

A single set already comes with a single-channel transmitter and receiver with a range of up to 100 meters and 328 feet and a 2.4 GHz digital transmission. It also has a built-in battery that can last up to 7 hours of recording use, which makes it the perfect recording device of choice if you plan on recording on the road.

On that note, the RØDE wireless ME microphone system is extremely portable thanks to its clip-on wireless transmitter and built-in microphone. The set has an internal capsule that sports an omnidirectional polar pattern so you will not need other microphones to record audio coming from different directions.

However, RØDE still gives you the option to clip a transmitter onto your sound source of the subject or use a separate Lavalier mic if this is your preference. No worries though as the wireless ME microphone system can still be used as your transmitter.

Speaking of the transmitter, RØDE’s wireless ME can be connected to most lav mics since the set has a 3.5mm TRS input with plug-in power. To make things easier for every user, the transmitter has a low-sensitivity mode to help prevent any audio distortion from happening and an LED brightness adjustment for easy monitoring even in dark recording locations.

As for the receiver, the RØDE wireless ME is versatile for mounting and connecting. The compact receiver can easily be attached to cameras, mobile devices, and tablets as it features both a 3.5mm output jack and a USB-C connector. The set also supplies a 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable for easy camera connection while the 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable can be used for smartphones and varying devices that make use of a headphone jack.

On the other hand, the USB-C to USB-C cable is compatible with Android phones and other devices with a USB-C port. Said receiver can also be connected with Lightning-equipped Apple devices since the wireless ME microphone system has a USB-C to Lighting connector.

RØDE Creates a Pocket-Sized Wireless ME Microphone System Fit For All Experience Levels and Varying Applications

The receiver has a 3-stage level control ranging from 0, -12, and -24 dB. Said levels can be adjusted in increments from 0 up to -30 dB via the receiver or through the companion app. For added convenience, the receiver also features an additional integrated microphone should a user need it.

The RØDE wireless ME microphone system is all about customization and integration. The companion app allows you to access multiple features and customize settings to your needs and liking. It can also be integrated with the RØDE Connect software to help you maximize application use. Said software will allow you to connect the transmitter in separate wireless audio streams for ease of monitoring.

Truly, the years of experience of RØDE as one of the leaders in audio technology has been highlighted with the new wireless ME microphone system. For the price of $149, you can easily get professional-quality audio recordings no matter the application and experience level you are in.
