DPA Microphones Unveils Its Latest Microphone Solutions At InfoComm 2024 Las Vegas
DPA Microphones made a loud impression on many attendees of this year’s InfoComm by unveiling five of its latest microphone solutions and installations. Said solutions and installations are the 2017 Compact Shotgun Microphone, AIR1 Universal Miniature Fur Windscreen, 4098 CORE Supercardioid Gooseneck Microphone, TSM4001 Table Shock Mount, and the DM6000 Microphone Base.
Starting with what many were most excited about was the 2017 Compact Shotgun Microphone. This unique all-purpose shotgun mic prioritized versatility, flexibility, and durability. This easy-to-set-up shotgun mic has acoustical properties that make it conducive to use for indoor and outdoor recording applications, AV projects, or live events.
It offers impressive technological features such as high directionality, clarity, and consistency for capturing clear and authentic sound. Plus, with dimensions that are compact and a body crafted with durable materials, the 2017 shotgun mic is a cutting-edge device that many audio professionals can use when recording from controlled to the most chaotic environments.
The AIR1 Universal Miniature Fur Windscreen is another solution that DPA Microphones unveiled at the convention held in Nevada, Las Vegas. This fur windscreen is intended for quick mounting on most round, omnidirectional headsets or Lavalier microphones that are between 0.1-0.23 inches. What makes that so special? Well, this unique design is patent-pending and guarantees that it can block out noises and wind-related challenges in the busiest outdoor environments.
It also claims to have unrivaled acoustic transparency, which is just a cherry on top of its audio performance. This is also made possible because said windscreen consists of two layers of wind protection and the newly designed acoustic fur specializes in air cavities to help surround and protect the microphone.
Other solutions unveiled were the 4098 CORE Supercardioid Gooseneck Microphone, the TSM4001 Table Shock Mount, and the DM6000 Microphone Base. While the Gooseneck Microphone may not sound exciting at first trust us, it may be a breakthrough mic solution, especially for the installation audio market. With its high speech intelligibility feature, users who need multiple languages to be instantly translated as they are spoken would be amazed by this microphone. For quick set-up and installation, you can mount the 4098 on podiums using the TSM4001 and consequently, you can mount it on bases and ceilings with the DM6000.
With all that said, it’s no wonder many attendees were amazed by the lineup DPA Microphone had at this year’s InfoComm. We’re personally excited to see, or rather hear, what others may have to say about these microphone solutions.
